• Community Voices: On Facebook, Filipinos highlighted safety, access to hospitals and schools, friendly neighbours, affordability, and lifestyle factors like proximity to the beach or shops.
• Survey Data: According to 2019 realestate.com.au’s Property Seeker Survey, 95% value a good neighbourhood, 94% easy access to shops, 87% pride in community, 81% green spaces, and 77% access to public transport.
• Scheme Details: Starting October 1, the First Home Buyers Deposit Scheme will allow purchases with only a 5% deposit. It removes income caps, raises price limits, and opens access to more buyers.
