Stronger ties as the Philippines and Australia celebrate 80 years of diplomatic relations

During his recent visit to the SBS Filipino studio in Melbourne, Philippine Ambassador to Australia Antonio Morales shares the preparations for the 80th anniversary of Philippine-Australia diplomatic relations this coming May 22.

'While we see the continued increase of Australian businesses in the Philippines, like the Cotton On Group and Anko, there is also an increase and rather significant presence of Philippine investments in Australia, not only in the hospitality industry but also in investments such as the Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT), in Melbourne (operated by Manila-based International Container Terminal Services Inc.
