The rental prices in Australia continue to rise, especially for small houses and units, where they have surged by almost 20%.

  • The median unit rent nationwide surged to 590 dollars per week in the March quarter according to PropTrack.
  • Rental prices for houses nationwide increased at a somewhat more moderate pace, rising by 9.1 per cent during the same period to reach 600 dollars a week.
