Max Mirnyi speaks about Australian Open and the Belarusian tennis

On Saturday at Australian open Max Mirnyi and Chinese woman Peng Shuai went down in the first round of mixed doubles to Czech Andrea Sestini Hlavackova/Edouard Roger-Vasselin (France) 4:6, 4:6. Earlier the Belarus veteran paired with Austrian Philipp Oswald lost in men's doubles to the American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan. After the match we spoke extensively with Max Mirnyi who's contribution to development of tennis in Belarus it is difficult to overestimate. And today we bring you the first part of our interview about the growth of the Australian tournament and reminiscing on some pages of the history of Belorussian tennis.
