Samuel Gratacap and the refugees from Choucha at UNSW

Samuel Gratacap

From 2012 to 2014, Samuel Gratacap, a French photographer, immortalised scenes of the refugees' life and Choucha camp in Tunisia on the Lybian border, now closed. From this experience came out the Empire project, images of the camp and its temporary inhabitants that put us to real and actual realities. Samuel Gratacap exhibits his photos until April 6 at the UNSW Gallery, a project on refugees and displacement of people during the Sydney Festival 2018. Monday, January 8, at 6pm a visit of the exhibition will be done in French.
