At Australian open 2018  Max Mirnyi and Chinese woman Peng Shuai went down in the first round of  mixed doubles to Czech Andrea Sestini Hlavackova/Edouard Roger-Vasselin (France) 4:6, 4:6.

Earlier the Belarus veteran paired with Austrian Philipp Oswald  lost in men's doubles to the American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan.
