Can "Germany´s Ed Sheeran" bring an end to the ESC draught?

27-year-old Michael Schulte will represent Germany in Lisbon, with a song dedicated to his father who died when Michael was 13. After a number of years with disappointing results, two-time winning Germany is now hopeful for more.

Schulte is often dubbed as "the German Ed Sheeran" due to a similarity in style and performance.

On May 12, he will be performing "You let me walk alone" in this year´s ESC final:
