Forced labor of Germans after World War II - How to claim your compensation in Australia

German civilians who were forced to work in Soviet and other foreign labor camps, during and following WW II, have only a few more months to register their compensation claim. The deadline (31 December 2017) is approaching fast - and with it the one-off payment of 2,500 Euro.

The 2,500 Euro payment (approx 3750 Australian Dollars) is financed by the German Government, following the 2016 "Richtlinie über eine Anerkennungsleistung an ehemalige deutsche Zwangsarbeiter".

25,000 compensation claims have been lodged so far.
