The Ozone Hole is Back

Scientists report that the ozone hole is back over the Southern hemisphere and for the second year in a row, it appears to be reaching record size.

The release of ozone layer damaging  chlorofluorocarbons was banned in 2010 but scientists suspect that someone has secretly resumed production helped by lax enforcement of CFC bans in some  countries.
