16 years after the tsunami in Indonesia

A team of researchers has followed survivors of the 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia over the past 16 years. How well they recovered from the trauma of the disaster depended on their gender, age and mentality. My colleague Barbara Barkhausen studied the long-term study and spoke with me via video link.
