In our series "In Conversation", we hear from Jochen Gutsch today. He is a Sydney-based composer, musician, artist and producer. We are discussing his new album 7 Tales, which he recorded with the current ensemble of his band Hinterlandt. The premiere will take place on August 20th in Sydney at “Venue 505” in Sydney. The Chamber-Pop-Quintet consists of the classically trained musicians Simeon Johnson - cello, Monique Mezzatesta - violin, Jara Stinson - violin, Nicole Smede - vocals. Jochen plays the trumpet, guitar and percussion instruments and wrote the music as well as the lyrics, poetic, mysterious short stories, in each of which consisting of one scene, allowing an insight into a person's entire life.
