Claudia Lempe from the Melbourne suburb Boronia has not seen her mother Angelika in Germany for two years because of the Australian border closure. She turned to the "Parents Are Immediate Family" protest group, which tried to persuade the Canberra government to recognize parents in their old homeland as close family members. Finally it is happening, her mother Angelika is visiting from Germany.
