In our series "In Conversation", we hear again from Liz Davie in Broome. After Liz told us about her parents and their background in the first part of the interview, today it's all about her own life.

Liz grew up with her parents, one brother and two cousins in Broome, next door to her current home, spent a few years at boarding school in Geraldton, in southern WA, and then came back home to work at the council. Today she still volunteers with several community-based organisations. As a child, she and her family visited her father's relatives in Germany, where she made lifelong friends with whom she still keeps in touch. She lives with her husband Ivan in an area steeped in history and popular with tourists and locals alike, right on Broome's Town Beach.
