Across Australia on a handcycle

A group of Austrian quadriplegic handcyclist tried to set a new world record time for crossing the continent. They almost succeeded.

Police stopped the group for safety reasons before they could make it  to Sydney, but only  after the intrepid cyclists had covered ninety percent of the distance.
