"I don't know of any musical instrument which is built as complex as an organ from the Baroque era." Says Albrecht Koch, German organist, Domkantor and President of the Gottfried-Silbermann-Society in Freiberg (Saxony).

SBS German invited Albrecht Koch to our radio studio, to talk about his Australian tour, with fabulous concerts and prominent talks in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Koch also explains the provenience, features and divine sound of his favourite organ: The "Great Gottfried-Silbermann-Organ" in the Freiberg Cathedral.

It was first played in... 1714.
