Since 1971, Herwig Niggemann has been managing director of "Niggemann Food Frischemarkt GmbH" in Bochum, Germany.
The family business was founded over 70 years ago by his father Werner. With around 230 employees, the company supplies commercial food customers - predominantly in the gastronomy. But besides his long love for the food trade, Herwig Niggemann has another a great passion: photography - in particular, the latest technology in terms of panoramic and 360-degree photography. No wonder he specialised in the photography of German supermarkets. SBS correspondent Katharina Loesche met him in Brisbane and wanted to know, what the future of digital photography holds.
