“The belief that the gras is always greener on the other side”, says Angelika von Sanden, “is often a reflection of comparing. And by comparing my neighbour’s gras, car, house and boat with my own house, and no boat, and maybe I don’t even have gras in front of my house, I fall into the trap of thinking that everything is bad in my life and that the life of the other is so much better. It’s the perfect recipe for dragging us into disaster.”
Angelika von Sanden, who grew up in the Black Forrest near Stuttgart, runs a private clinic in Port Melbourne for individuals, couples and families. We invited the psychotherapist, life coach and counsellor to tell us more about her fascinating work.

Angelika von Sanden helps English and German-speaking clients from all walks of life with problems in the following areas: trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationships, adoptation, blended families, expatriate assimilation, etc
