Jana, Jan-Dirk, Paul and Michel Lohmüller have been travelling with their boat JaJapami since 2017, well before the pandemic began. From France, they headed west to the Caribbean and later through the Panama Canal and the South Seas to Australia. When Barbara Barkhausen spoke to them, the German family was on their way from Brisbane to Sydney. She talked to them about their adventure, including lockdowns, which even happened on a South Sea atoll.
