Australia: Could you live on $40 a day?

New research shows financial and social inequality are still rife in many parts of Australian life. Analyses of the annual HILDA survey shows poverty has risen - and it's hitting women particularly hard. Meanwhile, a new survey has revealed many Newstart recipients are sacrificing food and utilities to survive on $40 a day.
