Australian swims a record 44th time across the English Channel

The English Channel between Great Britain and France is to many swimmers what Mount Everest is to mountaineers. A 36-year-old Australian has now achieved what no one has dared to accomplish before her: She swam the 33-kilometer route for a record 44th time.
