As in Australia, there are more and more vegetarians in Germany. This can be difficult for those who cook for a family. But slowly the restaurants and grocery stores, even butchers, are adapting to this development in the food culture. That's what this story by Iris Brandewiede is about, who reads from her book "Housewife, Mother, Working". It is her fourth narrative volume in which she tells stories from the current German everyday world with cool wit. In the future we will hear more stories from her, and also an interview with the author is planned.
