Cities around the world are celebrating the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth with performances of his only opera 'Fidelio'.
Singer Anke Hoeppner-Ryan starred in several performances in the role of Leonore who dresses up as a man to rescue her husband - and all other prisoners - from evil war lord Don Pizarro.
