The Berlin Wall Memorial is the central place of remembrance of the division of Germany. SBS reporter Daniel Salg had the historic location in the center of the capital - and the immense tragedy behind it - explained to him by a historian who moved to Berlin in the 1980s and experienced the opening of the Wall up close.
