The abundance of children's shows is almost unmanageable and it's hard to keep kids away from the screen these days. But what actually makes a good children's show? Barbara Uecker was involved in setting up the public children's channel KIKA and later realized the animated version of Banans in Pyjamas for ABC in Sydney. A conversation with the expert.
