What does the corona crisis mean for young people? With her tongue-in-cheek ironic style, Iris Brandewiede directs this week's commentary on the development of the corona crisis in Germany especially at the younger generation. It is an "open letter to all 13- to 23-year-olds", - she calls them the "coronials". Iris can only admire the young people and is full of praise for the enormous adaptability with which the students hold birthday parties via facetime, get through their workload independently at home or take part in zoom events and even cancel driver's license tests and graduation parties without much grumbling. How could this extraordinary period of history shape this generation?
