Daniel Marx and the versatile guitar

We hear from a young, German classical guitarist, Daniel Marx, who gave a number of concerts here in Australia. He also serenades us live in the studio. We talk about the repertoire for the guitar, its significance in classical music and its development over the many decades since this string instrument and its predecessors - like the lute - have been around. Daniel is a specialist concerning these questions, because that's what his doctoral thesis is about.
