Martin Brüggemann is a young German theatre director from Frankfurt who is currently getting a taste of Australian theatre. He has staged a scenic reading of the book "Why We Took the Car" by Wolfgang Herrndorf and translated the very successful German play into English for the first time. SBS spoke to the theatre director about his work and the differences between the theatre landscape in Australia and Germany.
