Dr Katrin Amian: 250 years Humboldt

Alexander von Humboldt was born in September 1769. He was a child of the enlightenment and lived to the ripe old age of 89. We asked Dr Katrin Amian from the Humboldt Foundation in Bonn to tell us more about the German genius.
