The ancient Egyptians have fascinated people for centuries. What prompted the inhabitants of the Nile to build pyramids and who were these fabulous pharaohs? In the coming months, there will be three exhibitions of Egyptian antiquities on display in Australia. Ramesses I, the founder of the 19th Dynasty, starts in Sydney.
