Mandy Schöne-Salter has lived in Australia for 21 years, more precisely in the Blue Mountains, two hours west of Sydney. The German expatriate is an artist and is known for her mural paintings. SBS correspondent Barbara Barkhausen spoke with her about her inspirations and asked what drew the German to the other side of the world.
