While Aussies grow up immersed in cricket, it's a different story for German-speaking immigrants. To explore why cricket is the most popular sport Down Under, SBS reporter Daniel Georgakos headed to the Melbourne Cricket Ground for the Boxing Day Test between Australia and Pakistan. There, he connected with Annett Forman, a spirited German cricket enthusiast. Originally from Dresden, Annett has made her home in Denmark, a beautiful town in southwest Australia. Accompanied by her family, she made a special trip to Melbourne to experience the live stadium action. In this interview, she shares insights and tips for those eager to learn more about cricket and unveils what sparked her passion for the sport.
