The German national team will play their first World Cup game next Monday and can count on the support of hundreds of German fans. The German fan club will be making the long journey down under this weekend and is expected at Melbourne airport on Sunday morning. Oli Kerbler will welcome the German fans there.


He has lived in Melbourne for 20 years and is usually the one who has to make the long journeys to World Cups. Now he has a home match. The anticipation is accordingly great. In the SBS interview, he reveals what the German fan club has planned for the coming weeks in Australia.

The German match schedule:
Monday, 24.07.23: Germany vs. Morocco, kick-off 6:30 p.m. in Melbourne
Sunday, 30.07.23: Germany vs. Colombia, kick-off 7:30 p.m. in Sydney
Thursday, 03.08.23: South Korea vs. Germany, kick-off 8:00 p.m. in Brisbane
