Genie Fiebig was a key member of the German Lutheran Church in Melbourne. She joined as a child after arriving from Europe in the mid-1930s and remained loyal to the institution for life. The former teacher, beloved organist and pre-war migrant from Lodz (Poland) passed away in Melbourne on April 17th, just six days shy of her 92nd birthday.
