German teachers in Australia: Their experiences

There are 1346 teachers in Australia who were born and trained in Germany. As such, they represent the biggest group of teachers born in a country outside of Australia who are NOT native English speakers. A young academic from Perth, Katharina Bense, has studied the experiences and difficulties of the German-born and German-trained teachers, for a PhD at the University of Western Australia. We asked Katharina how sought after those teachers are in Australia today.
