Thousands of Australians left their jobs, universities and schools to demonstrate for the climate.
The third global climate strike took place in the run-up to the UN climate summit, which starts on Monday in New York. SBS Radio German Program's intern Alisa Wienand was at the demonstration in Melbourne.
