Happy Multicultural Mother’s Day!

In multicultural Australia, many groups have their own holidays. One day, however, is celebrated by almost all ethnic and religious groups: Mother's Day. In this report, Trudi Latour follows the origins and importance of Mother's Day, and visits two groups at the Froebel Early Childhood Center in St Leonards, while they are crafting Mother's Day gifts. We hear form the children, the teachers and are even treated to a special mother's day song. In our investigation of the multicultural aspect we also hear from Ben, who comes from Romania, from Michael, whose home is Iran, and from Moana, a New Zealander of Maori origin.
