“I can tell that there is soccer fever here right now”

Alexander Baumjohan has lived in Australia with his family for six years. He was previously an active soccer player at FC Bayern Munich, Schalke 04, and Borussia Mönchengladbach, among others, and has experienced a lot in his career. After further stints in Brazil and Australia, he is now responsible for the fate of Sydney FC as a sports director. During the European Championships in Germany, he is also active as a soccer expert and commentator at Optus Sport.
