"I didn't want to have to look back one day and say, 'if I'd only tried'"

Simone Holmes from Brisbane traveled to Switzerland with her Australian partner and two children for three and a half months in March 2021 - unvaccinated and despite the Australian borders being closed for non-essential travel. "It was the best decision of my life," says the native Swiss, "because time (with family living overseas) is something you never get back".
