"I only found out on the day of the funeral that my mother had died"

Claire Middleton has been living in Germany for 30 years. Her mother passed away in Canberra in May. Because of Corona, Claire could not fly back to Australia. Her adult son lives in Canberra and she hasn't seen him in three years. "Everything is extremely difficult," says the pensioner.
