In conversation: Ilona Vass and her 30 students from New York

Ilona Vass was here at SBS on Tuesday to tour the station with 30 students from New York. Ilona is their lecturer at the Catholic University in Sydney, where the young people from NY take a summer course on multicultural management. The students are quite multicultural as a group, speak about a dozen different languages together and come from a wide range of faculties.

Ilona Vass was born in Austria, but lived in Australia and China for a long time. Her main job is to lead a company that focuses on communication and conflict resolution and offers courses for companies. She is involved in cross-cultural understanding at all levels and sees her annual visit to SBS with international students as an important part of the program.
