The Australian actress and author Merridy Eastman lived in Munich for a few years, where she wrote her third book How Now Brown Frau. But even before that, she became well known with her book There Is A Bear in There And He Wants Swedish. This memoir about her time as a receptionist in a Sydney brothel was even translated into German, and called Nachtschicht. Currently Merridy is even working with a TV production company to make the bestseller into a TV series.
