Sascha Arango was a guest of this years Sydney Writers Festival and simultaneously of the Goethe Institutes German Film Festival. That alone shows already the versatility of the German author, who has been writing for TV, radio and the stage since 1989, and received a number of awards. I talked with him about his first novel, The Truth and Other Lies, which was so well received that it got translated into a number of languages and is about to be made into a movie by Hollywood.
