A moving sculpture, people changing positions under a big piece of fabric and always creating new forms - this is the "living sculpture" at the Sculpture by the Sea festival in Bondi. Three members of the KOA Art Collectives were in the studio to talk about their approach, Katja Keya Richter, one of the founders of the collective, and the movement artists Zuzanna Bukowski and Kieran Mitchell. The collaboration of the group builds on a form of movement called contact improvisation. It is experimental and interactive, involving musicians, other artists and even the audience. The communication of the participants of one of these dance processes is based on the international vocabulary of the "contact community". One event with a performance will still take place, on November 10, when apparently an orchestra is included.
