In the shadow of the Wall (1) - Living with the Wall

Part one explores the beginnings: André Mathias, born in East Berlin in 1963, describes how he, as a child, experienced the Wall, a term which was officially not in use in the GDR. André also explains how the desire and willingness to flee the country increased towards the "Wende".
