Jürgen Freund: hoffentlich hat er das Krokodil gesehen Source: K. Loesche

Jürgen Freund studied mechanical engineering and found out, that this was just not creative enough for him. He followed "the call of the sea" all the way to Australia and has now been a marine and wildlife photographer for more than 25 years. His award-winning images originated from trips all over the world. But his home is now in the Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland. The pandemic forced him to look for motifs on his own doorstep, the tropical rainforest. There is also a lot to discover especially at night - glowing green mushrooms, for example.
