Black skin cancer has been one of the diseases with the highest death rates. However, new targeted combination therapies and new immunotherapies are already significantly increasing survival rates. Professor Nikolas Haass from Germany is researching targeted treatment of metastatic melanoma at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.
