Officially recognized: Spatzenschule in Melbourne Celebrates Milestone with Lantern Walk

Spatzenschule in Melbourne's Toorak district has achieved a milestone: After two long years of negotiations, President Claudia Haake was able to sign a contract with the Department of Education that officially recognizes the concept of the native speaker program. The concept is unique and has gained some prestigious supporters during the negotiations, including former Victorian Education Minister James Merlino and also Consul General Michael Pierce. To celebrate the signing of the agreement, the school organized a lantern run.
