At the meetings of the German Model United Nations in Melbourne, German students develop a political consensus. Ideally, they also pass a resolution. This not only improves their German language skills, but also their political education. Karin Täubner has been the Secretary General of the model plenary session for the past three years. In this interview, she talks about what makes these meetings so special. She also talks about why she is moving back to Germany after 30 years and the hurdles she haa to overcome beforehand.
