"We forget that there are plants and animals that simply disappear"In the style of Street Art, Mandy Schoene-Salter created a huge hand which holds a small possum. The Striped-Faced-Dunnart is widely distributed, but in NSW it is threatened with extinction. It looks at us with giant eyes and reminds us that there are many plants and animals that disappear from our environment, without us really realizing it. Her contribution to the exhibition "Cause and Effect" is part of the Vivid Ideas Festival 2017 and can be seen from 27 May onwards for 2 weeks in Redfern, 107 Redfern Street, Sydney. The goal of this exhibition is to change behavior and involve the viewers. Visitors can write down their own thoughts on "Priceless" and hang these contributions on the wall next to Mandy's work. At the opening on Saturday there are also lectures on the topic. All this in Redfern, 107 Redfern Street, Sydney called "107 Projects".
