First a play, then a movie. "Girls in Uniform" by the German-Hungarian writer Christa Winsloe caused a sensation in the 1930s. The story about the lesbian love of a boarding school student for her teacher comes to an Australian theatre stage in Melbourne, in German.


The "German Student Theater Group" and the "School of Languages ​​and Linguistics" at the University of Melbourne are performing on Friday, December 17th, at 7 pm in the Yasuko Hiraoka Myer Room, in the Sidney Myer Asia Center, on Swanston Street in Melbourne / Carlton.
